UCA – Union Certification & Assessment is a Florida-based consulting company for product certification in Brazil and the United States. We offer specialized services for companies of any nationality that wish to sell their products in the Brazilian and/or U.S. markets and that, in order to carry out their export and import operations safely and effectively, need to certify and register their products.
We advise in the entire process of adequacy to the standards of the two countries so that the products comply with the requirements of the target market, both with respect to legislation and to other standards. Our process involves:
UCA offers consulting services for product certification at INMETRO – National Institute of Metrology, Quality and Technology, the Brazilian federal agency focused on improving the quality and safety of products and services distributed in Brazil. We do the adaptation of American companies and other nationalities that wish to enter the Brazilian market, but face difficulties in the Certification Process of their products and adequacy to the Standards, Ordinances, and Regulations established by INMETRO.
UCA offers consulting services for product certification at the FDA – Food and Drug Administration, the US federal agency responsible for regulating products from various industries (pharmaceutical, food, veterinary, etc). We assist Brazilian companies and other nationalities that wish to enter the U.S. market, but encounter difficulties in the process of compliance with FDA regulations. We also assist in the Certification of FSMA Voluntary Qualified Importer Program (VQIP) of the FDA.
UCA operates not only in the United States and Brazil, but also advises any country in Latin America or Central America that wishes to insert its products in these two markets. We believe in the strength of this union and seek to foster business between countries in the Americas through our consulting services for product certification. The company germinated rooted in knowledge in the area of certifications and has consolidated itself in both destinations.
UCA is a young company that carries the baggage and experience of its leaders. Our leaders have been working in the certification consulting market for more than 15 years. They are also partners of Celack, a certification body accredited by CGCRE – INMETRO, which has been operating in the Brazilian certification market for over 15 years.
